T O P I C R E V I E WElectro DGXAnyone here with Moon-Pluto tightly in aspect, Moon in 8th or Scorpio Moon feel like when something is bothering them, they have to either ride the wave out until it goes away or have this incessant need to get to the bottom of it? Despite my Moon in Gemini I have never related much to its traits on dealing with feelings. Many Gem Moons comment on how they can just get easily distracted by something else and forget what was bothering them in the first place, but not me. If something is bothering me it will forever eat at me until I resolve the problem, or ride out the wave of emotion I am dealing with. I can't just "ignore" what I am upset about in the moment.kani quote:Originally posted by Electro DGX:Anyone here with Moon-Pluto tightly in aspect, Moon in 8th or Scorpio Moon feel like when something is bothering them, they have to either ride the wave out until it goes away or have this incessant need to get to the bottom of it? But now, I am ok. Just depends which emotions are involved. MelinnI can't get over things either with my gem moon. Because its more about the aspects and the house. Not the sign. But the lashing out is not so much a quick snappy remark that ends with someone sulking(that's more Mars). Its more like in "getting to the bottom" of stuff I re-examine the WHOLE relationship i.e Is this the first time this person does this? Was their intention to hurt /injure? Why are we associated with each other in the first place? etc.If all the answers are negative with regards to the questions above, a severing of ties(permanently) often results. And that's Pluto.Strangely, this goes for inanimate objects i.e ideologies/books/ theories etc. as much as is does for living, breathing things. The reaction to someone like a celebrity that one does not agree with is often very strong and will result in complete dissociation i.e when that entertainer makes homophobic /racist/sexist/ xenophobic or anti-Semitic remarks etc. This despite PR "apologies" etc.(Kevin Hart, Roseanne Barr,James Woods etc.)I wonder if the public reaction in the States is governed by Pluto transits to Mars/Moon or Sun tbh. Either by progression or natal? As there seems to be a very swift and often sweeping reaction to a celeb/politician or public figure who puts a foot wrong.Typically speaking, I don't and have never been the type to "forget" hurt feelings. They linger on in my mind. But it seems with the transit, this has intensified ....a lot.I attributed my past reactions to Moon/Mars square, Pluto-ruled Venus-Saturn conjunction, Pluto in 7th as well as Mars in 7th.Thoughts of lashing out or revenge featured a lot in the past i.e a strong desire to "restore" balance. So this transit is like "reuniting" with an old friend or being more honest in claiming these strong feelings etc.I wonder though; Do Moon-Pluto people burn or destroy stuff(not just relationships)? As it seems for me that destroying or burning something seems to have a more "therapeutic" effect than just throwing it away. It's impossible to let something completely go because it always stays with me, continuously echoing inside my mind like a broken record player. I can try and distract myself through other means like listening to music or watching a movie, but the feelings still linger inside. I have to allow myself to really feel everything out, though almost always in private. I am really good at hiding my emotions, but underneath it all it's a boiling point of turbulent waters. Like I can just crack at any moment once my cup runneth over. Might be a little magnified with me though because this aspect takes place between the 8th and 12th house. I think the biggest difficulty lies in articulating just how I feel. It's like I can never find the right words to process everything and end up consistently frustrated anyway. Nobody knows me on a really deep, intense level, and I'm afraid I'll never be able to truly experience that with anybody either. I feel let down when the relationships feel shallow.Over the years, I have gotten better at dealing with my feelings, but I'm still a highly sensitive person no matter what I do. It always bothered me when people would tell me to *just* get over things. It's impossible for me to do that on command (oh how I envy those who can...) I've learned to allow myself to just feel everything out. I honestly think that's the only way to truly get through this aspect in this lifetime. It's much healthier than keeping everything bottled up inside. Just gotta let it flood, man...On the other hand, however, I can easily door slam someone out of my life who has been problematic and not look back. I suppose that may be one example of how I'm able to detach. But then I have these alternate scenario/idealistic kind of visions appear and start feeling slightly guilty again. I tend to overidealize and wonder if I made a mistake, foreseeing many possibilities that could have taken place if I only did something different. hearttreasure quote:Originally posted by moongaze:...On the other hand, however, I can easily door slam someone out of my life who has been problematic and not look back. My 8th house Pluto in Scorpio has this ability to abruptly sever ties, but naturally, Pisces being mutable can see multiple sides to a situation.
